Yamaha Corporation is recruiting a wide range of competitive R&D engineers for its internship programs. Interns will work either at the Innovation Center or from home. The program will span approximately 12 weeks during the summer, and travel and accommodation expenses will be covered while working at Yamaha. Interns will be members of teams that include other Yamaha researchers and engineers.

Developing WebApp by following designated requirements, completing all processes of designing, coding, testing, and deploying

SKILLS

  • Knowledge/Experience in AWS and Linux, software development using TypeScript or JavaScript
  • Knowledge of network protocols and servers (e.g. HTTPS, DNS)
  • Basic knowledge of Professional Audio Devices (e.g. mixing consoles, sound processors, microphones/amps/speakers)

Continuous measurement and analytic research, simulation and verification to gain insights into instruments' behavior

SKILLS

  • Required: Acoustic engineering and vibration analysis, modeling/analysis software such as Solidworks/ANSYS, Basic knowledge of musical instruments structure (either Piano, Wind Instruments, or Drums)
  • Desirable: Ability to play string instruments (either Piano, Wind Instruments, or Drums)
