Robin Arrigo

Biography

Robin Arrigo received the degrees Bachelor of Music in piano performance and Master of Music Education from Florida State University, and the Doctor of Musical Arts degree from University of Miami in accompanying and chamber music. She has served as an artist resident at the Dreyfoos School of the Arts and is currently Adjunct Professor/Staff Accompanist at Palm Beach Atlantic University. She concertizes primarily in South Florida, but has also appeared in New York and Paris.

Dr. Arrigo has performed four times with the Palm Beach Atlantic University Symphony and her most recent concerto performance was the Rachmaninoff Second Piano Concerto. She has also performed with the Palm Beach Symphony and the Festival Symphony. This past summer she was invited to study abroad with the Fondation Bell'Arte aisbl at The Paris International Summer Session under the tutelage of well-known artist and piano pedagogue Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabbri. During her stay, Robin gave a performance of the first movement of Rachmaninoff's Second Piano Concerto for the Master Class of Philippe Entremont, who is currently one of the world's leading pianists and conductors.

She was Juilliard's guest artist of internationally known pianist, teacher and author, David Dubal, performing the works of Liszt and Scriabin. Arrigo has collaborated and appeared with artists on numerous occasions at the Kravis Center. She also has collaborated with violinists Ilana Setapan, Frank Almond and Joanna Frankel as part of the Flagler Museum concert series.

In addition to performing, Arrigo has written two piano transcriptions of a newly discovered Mendelssohn's: Their Music in History (Oxford Press). Arrigo is listed in the Who's Who in America, Who's Who in American Education, and Who's Who Among Women.
