Victoria Theodore is a graduate of Oberlin College and Oberlin Conservatory of Music with two Bachelor degrees: Bachelor of Music in Classical Piano Performance and Computer Music, and Bachelor of Arts in Music History. She is also a graduate of Stanford University with a Master's Degree in Classical Piano Performance.
In August 2007, Victoria was hired as keyboardist and background singer for Stevie Wonder's "Wonder Summer's Night Tour" and "Wonder Autumn's Night Tour" and has also been performing with him during his 2008 world tours. She has performed in more than 40 concerts with the legendary musical genius and looks forward to more.
Victoria is a highly sought after Bay area pianist, keyboardist, accompanist and piano instructor, respected for her wide ranging musical versatility. Victoria has performed around the world and is an active freelance musician, performing with several R&B, jazz, gospel, pop and classical artists, choruses, churches and bands. She has worked with popular artists such as Dwayne Wiggins of Tony! Toni! Toné!, disco diva Thelma Houston, rap artists Oaktown 357, Tony Lindsay (lead singer for Santana), with classical artists such as soprano Hope Briggs, and conductors Marika Kuzma, Michael Morgan, and Deidre McClure and for several Bay Area organizations and ensembles, such as the Oakland Opera Theater.
