Ryan Riveros is a composer, performer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist. Born and raised in rural Oklahoma, he obtained his bachelor’s degree in composition and music theory at Bowdoin College before pursuing a career in music upon graduating. Now based in Los Angeles, he brings his multidisciplinary experience to a number of different roles across the music industry. In addition to writing and recording his own works, he tours extensively with recording artist Lindsey Stirling, playing guitar, keyboards, and saxophone while performing at venues across the globe. Off the road, he works as a composer and songwriter for film, animation, art, and installation projects. Most notably, he serves as the resident composer and Head of Music for The Obscure, a Los-Angeles based collective which fuses elements of theme park design, immersive theater, distillery science, and innovations both technological and artistic into an indescribable members-only experience. Lastly, Ryan serves as the musical director of Chords2Cure, a nonprofit group which organizes live concerts and events in order to raise funds for pediatric cancer research.
