Ron Lambert is a graduate of the University of Illinois and former marching member of The Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps. As Director of Bands for the Lakewood Ranch High School band program, Ron conducts the wind ensemble, symphonic band, and the intermediate and advanced jazz bands.
While a member of the University of Illinois Marching Illini, University of Illinois Wind Ensemble, and Cavaliers, Ron studied with esteemed educators such as James Keene, Gary Smith, Jim Campbell, Joe Cartagena, and Bret Kuhn. He has served as an Associate Director at the University of South Florida where he ran the USF Show Band, Basketball Band, the Herd of Thunder Drumline and Indoor Percussion Theater.
Ron has served on the Faculty of the Music For All's Summer Symposium Leadership Weekend and is a member of Phi Mu Alpha Sinfonia. He has also participated as an instructor and arranger for many nationally recognized marching band programs in Florida, Texas, and California and for several drum and bugle corps around the country. He is a professional drummer who has many recording and touring credits and over 25 years of private and curricular education.
