NASHVILLE, TN. (Nov. 7, 2011) Yamaha Entertainment Group is proud to announce Jeremiah Lance from Arizona is the winner of the Muppets Sweepstakes! The prize is a Yamaha AvantGrand Piano, two tickets to the premiere of Disney's The Muppets on Nov. 12, 2011, round-trip airfare and hotel accommodations in Los Angeles.
"I've always been a fan of the Muppets and Yamaha," says Jeremiah Lance. "Unimaginable is really the only term that sums it all up. I'm so excited I still cannot stop jumping three feet off the floor. I've never won anything and coming from Yamaha this is more of an honor than a prize!"
The Walt Disney Studios is reuniting Kermit the Frog, Miss Piggy, Fozzie the Bear, Gonzo, Animal, and the rest of the gang in theaters Nov. 23, just in time for the 2011 Thanksgiving holiday weekend. The Muppets star alongside Jason Segel, Amy Adams, Chris Cooper, Rashida Jones, and a raft of guest stars. With the help of three fans, The Muppets must reunite to save their old theater from a greedy oil tycoon.
Yamaha Entertainment Group has a special fondness for the Muppets, and in particular for piano-playing Rowlf the Dog, who can be seen on the cover of the latest issue of All Access magazine alongside an AvantGrand piano. The AvantGrand N1, an entry-level version of the company's acclaimed AvantGrand hybrid piano technology, offers advanced piano sound reproduction without the tuning, cost or footprint of a comparable stringed instrument. Delivering the tone and touch of a nine-foot Yamaha CFIIIS concert grand piano, the N1 is the most compact and affordable addition yet to the AvantGrand family, which includes the N2 upright and the acclaimed, flagship N3 hybrid piano.
"What I love about Yamaha as a whole is the sound - pure undeniable harmonics," says Lance. "I've produced electronic music for the past few years, deejayed for the past 13 years and also written small musical pieces using Steinberg's Cubase. At this point I'm still in disbelief. I never thought I'd win! Myself and other artists will get much joy from that beautiful piece of sound for quite a long time!"
