NASHVILLE, TN. (Nov 29, 2010) Pop and country superstars flooded the Yamaha Artist Services - Nashville office in October with requests for pianos for their latest music videos. Yamaha pianos can be seen front in center in recent productions from Sara Bareilles, Taylor Swift and Lady Antebellum.
Grammy Award winning artist Sara Bareilles broke into mainstream success with her hit song "Love Song." Lately she has been busy promoting her follow up album Kaleidoscope Heart, which was released Sept. 7. Two Yamaha grand pianos - a black and a white MPC3 - can be seen in her latest music video for the song "Uncharted," her second single to be released off her sophomore album. Behind-the-scenes photos can be seen here on her website.
Multi-Grammy Award winning artist and one of the best selling artists of the past few years Taylor Swift isn't slowing down any time soon. Her recently released album Speak Now, only her third studio album of her career, made headlines for its raw, unedited lyrics about several relationships with celebrities, and it debuted at number one on the US Billboard Chart 200. A Yamaha MPC7 grand piano was requested for her recent video shoot that took place in New York City.
Lady Antebellum, the country music group comprising of Charles Kelley, Dave Haywood and Hillary Scott, became a crossover hit with their hugely successful single "Need You Now," which climbed the Pop and Adult Contemporary charts as well as the Country charts. Yamaha Artist Services - Nashville provided a C6 grand piano for the set of the music video for "Hello World," which was filmed in their hometown of Nashville, TN. The video, with the grand piano front and center, made its debut in late October and can be seen here on their website.
