NASHVILLE, Tenn. (June 23, 2010) Yamaha is proud to announce Gretchen Knoelke from Morganton, NC is the winner of the Isaac Slade autographed P85 Digital Piano, as was seen photographed with him during his cover photo shoot for the Winter 2010 edition of Yamaha's All Access magazine. Fans had an opportunity to enter the sweepstakes through All Access 360, a website featuring videos that take viewers behind the scenes of All Access photo shoots.
"This is such awesome news! The Fray is my favorite band. I cannot even begin to describe how much they and their music mean to me and how much memorabilia I've collected of theirs, but this is a different thing!" said Knoelke. "I know that Isaac plays Yamaha exlusively, so I am looking forward to playing a Yamaha keyboard myself!"
Between Jan. 15 and June 15, 2010, contestants from all over the United States logged on to the All Access 360 site at www.YamahaAllAccess360.com to answer a question about Isaac Slade: Why does he write on the keys of his upright piano? The answer could be found by watching his behind-the-scenes video. The grand prize winner was chosen at random.
"We are thrilled to present Gretchen with this one-of-a-kind instrument," comments Chris Gero, director of Yamaha Artist Services - Nashville. "Hopefully the added bonus is that more people are inspired to pick up an instrument or buy these artists' music after watching these All Access 360 videos. We look forward to continuing to provide sneak peeks into the world of our talented artists and giving away more exclusive, autographed Yamaha gear."
All Access 360 was launched in January 2009 as a way to bring fans even deeper into the world of Yamaha artists, offering an up-close-and-personal video perspective from the set of a photo shoot. Many of the videos also show a glimpse of life on tour, in the studio, or even in the artists' homes. All Access 360 also reveals scoop on preferred Yamaha gear straight from the artists' mouths, impromptu music performances, bonus photographs, links to their features in All Access, and more.
Yamaha All Access 360's Facebook page is continuously updated with hints on future artist features as well as announcements about upcoming contests.
