Recently
Last Call with Carson Daly celebrated its five-year anniversary as part of NBC's top-rated, late-night lineup. The show can be seen weekdays at 1:35 a.m. ET. While the show boasts diverse bookings in the worlds of entertainment, politics and sports, it is the progressive music bookings that have earned host Carson Daly his bragging rights amongst the late-night crowd. Since day one,
Last Call has been the show that gives many of the hottest bands their first break on network television or on U.S. television. These bands include
Panic At the Disco, The Killers, Maroon 5, Jack Johnson and Yamaha artist
Gavin DeGraw, among many others.
Firstman leads the band of talented musicians, adding a fun flavor of rock and roll mixed with jazz to the show. A former recipient of the Singer/Songwriter of the Year Award at the Los Angeles Music Awards, Firstman has supported music greats including Willie Nelson, Yamaha artist Sheryl Crow, Jewel, and Lisa Marie Presley. He also collaborated with celebrated lyrist Bernie Taupin on a recent Nelson project. Firstman is currently on tour throughout the U.S. and is playing Yamaha
CP33 and
CP300 stage pianos.
King mixes a unique blend of jazz, R&B, rock, and soul on his Yamaha Motif ES8. Not only does he play keyboards for the house band on
Last Call, but he has also performed in numerous jazz festivals and toured with Warner Bros. recording artist Renee Olstead.
