HOLLYWOOD, Calif. (October 23, 2006) Yamaha Drummer
Ari Hoenig recently signed a record deal with Dreyfus Records, a major independent label based in the U.S. and France. His first release on the new label is slated for January 2007.

Hoenig has been busy touring and recording with his two jazz trios. One features
Jean Michel Pilc and Johannes Weidenmueller, while the other features Jonathan Kreisberg and Matt Penman. This fall and winter Hoenig will also be touring and/or recording in the bands of Bojan Z, Jean Michael Pilc, Kenny Werner, and Seamus Blake and David Kikoski.
Hoenig has shared the bandstand with the likes of Joe Lovano, Gerry Mulligan, Pat Metheny, Dave Holland and Wynton Marsalis. Today, he can also be found playing in the bands of any number of musicians, including Pat Martino, Joshua Redman, Wayne Krantz, Richard Bona, Chris Potter, Kurt Rosenwinkel, The Jazz Mandolin Project and
