Usher continued his amazing year, winning 11 honors at the Billboard Music Awards.
Alicia Keys also had an astonishing night, taking seven statues. All in all, Yamaha artists won 19 of the 41 categories awarded.
Usher won Artist of the Year; Billboard 200 artist of the year; Billboard 200 album of the year and R&B/Hip-Hop album of the year for "Confessions"; Hot 100 artist of the year; Mainstream Top 40 artist of the year; R&B/Hip-Hop artist of the year; R&B/Hip-Hop albums artist for Hot 100 single of the year, Hot 100 airplay single of the year and Mainstream Top 40 single of the year. Usher performed at the show, and uses several Yamaha pro audio products, including
workstations,
speakers and
amps.
Alicia Keys, who performed on the show also, won Female artist of the year, Female Hot 100 artist of the year, Hot 100 songwriter of the year, Female R&B/Hip-Hop artist of the year and R&B/Hip-Hop singles artist of the year. Her song "If I Ain't Got You," won for R&B/Hip-Hop single of the year and R&B/Hip-Hop airplay single of the year. Keys performed her latest hit "Karma" for the show with keyboardist and Yamaha artist

C1. The show was filmed at the MGM Grand Arena in Las Vegas and was broadcast nationally on the Fox network on December 8.
