NASHVILLE, Tenn. (September 21, 2015) – Yamaha Entertainment Group of America today announced its founder and vice president, Chris Gero, received the 2015 Noble Globe Award at the 4th Annual Heifer International Beyond Hunger: A Place At The Table gala event.
This year's event took place at the Montage Beverly Hills hotel over Emmy weekend on September 18. Jon Heder was the emcee for the evening. Guests had the pleasure of listening to musical entertainment by Yamaha Artist, Michael McDonald while they indulged in a menu curated by celebrity chef, Cat Cora. The First Lady of Rwanda, Mrs. Jeannette Kagame, and medical expert, Deborah L. Brix, M.D. were the distinguished guests of the evening. In addition to Gero, investor Tai Lopez and New York Times bestselling author Patrick Rothfuss were also recipients of the Noble Globe Award. This prestigious honor is given to supporters of Heifer International who completely embody the charity's core values and make it their goal to work towards ending poverty and hunger while caring for the Earth at the same time.
"It was a true honor to receive the Noble Globe Award and spend an evening surrounded by such inspiring individuals who are bettering the world each and everyday for the next generation," said Gero.

Heifer International's Beyond Hunger: A Place At The Table annual event focuses on raising awareness and critical resources for marginalized women and their families around the world. Heifer International is a nonprofit organization that believes women serve a vital role in feeding the world and are therefore essential in fighting the battle to eliminate poverty and hunger.
