Neil Sanderson was born in Peterborough, Ontario and started playing drums when he was 12 years old. He is an original band member of Three Days Grace. The band formed when they were in 9th grade in high school. During high school the band used to jam in his bedroom on lunch breaks from school. They would have mini concerts in his room and then go back for 3rd period.
Neil has been heavily influenced by John Bonham, Stuart Copeland, and Danny Carey.
Right now Three Days Grace are out on tour, in support of there new record, "One-X."
