Michael Cavanaugh was hand-picked by Billy Joel to star in his Broadway musical Movin' Out. For three years and close to 1,200 performances, Michael played the role of the piano man and received accolade after accolade for his performance, which culminated in both Grammy and Tony award nominations.
Soon after Movin' Out, Michael began recording and touring in his own right and has now evolved into one of the hottest artists in the corporate world, performing for corporations such as Microsoft and GE, sporting events including the US Open, the Indy 500, numerous NBA and PGA tournaments and events and private parties and celebrations throughout the United States and Europe. In 2006 Cavanaugh released his debut studio album Sounds A Lot Like Me.
Solo at the piano or fronting his amazing band, Michael tailors each show to suit the demographic, ensuring a highly successful event for the organizers and a memorable night for the audience.
