Dr. Kenneth Broadway serves as Professor at the University of Florida, where he teaches applied percussion and directs the percussion ensemble and the steel drum ensemble. Prior to this, he served in similar capacities at universities in South Dakota and Georgia. He has been a featured performer and presenter at conventions, symposiums, and universities throughout the United States, Europe, and Canada.
Dr. Broadway is a Yamaha Performing Artist, serves as an educational endorser for Sabian, Remo, and Salyers Percussion, and is active as a clinician, adjudicator, and performer.
He is Past President of the National Association of College Wind and Percussion Instructors and a member of the College Music Society and the Percussive Arts Society (Past President of the Florida and South Dakota chapters). He also participates in the World Music Mission, an international group of performers, composers, and ethnomusicologists. Dr. Broadway received Bachelor of Music, Master of Music, and Doctor of Music Arts degrees from the University of Georgia.
