Jane Aspnes is presently teaching horn at the University of Alaska Fairbanks and is very active in Borealis Brass with other members of the brass faculty. In October 2015, they were a part of the Lynden Music Festival in Lynden, Washington. In 2016, Borealis Brass was a part of a brass festival at the University of Texas Brownsville in a performance of the Bernstein Mass arranged for brass and percussion by Gordon Hallberg. Ms. Aspnes was also a part of a tour to Ecuador with Borealis Brass.
