Trumpeter Glen Marhevka is a graduate of California State University Northridge having earned a Bachelor of Music in performance under the tutelage of Roy Poper. In 1995, Glen became a member of the band Big Bad Voodoo Daddy. BBVD has sold more than two million albums, and has performed thousands of concerts worldwide. A few of BBVD's credits include performances at the Superbowl XXXIII halftime show with Stevie Wonder, the Jon Favreau movie Swingers, and even being animated in an episode of Scooby Doo. BBVD’s numerous television appearances include Dancing With the Stars, Jay Leno, Conan, Good Morning America, Today Show, and the Macy's Day Parade. BBVD has been nominated for a Grammy, and their music has been featured in over 100 soundtracks and film trailers.
Aside from BBVD, Glen has also performed and or recorded with artists such as Ben Harper, B.B. King, Gary Cherone, and Disney’s Imagination Movers.
Glen is a Yamaha Artist and clinician, and has been promoting music education and excellence in schools across the country.
