Domingo Pagliuca serves as trombonist with the Boston Brass. Born in Venezuela, Pagliuca moved to the United States and graduated from the University of Miami with both a bachelor's degree and a master's degree in instrumental performance. He has toured extensively with the Boston Brass, performing and giving master classes throughout the United States, Central America, Europe and Asia.
As a soloist, Pagliuca has performed in the United States, Venezuela, Colombia, Italy, Greece and Belarus. He has appeared in more than 200 CD productions as guest trombonist, and he has received multiple Grammy Certificates for Grammy Award-winning music productions in which he participated as a guest recording artist. In addition, Pagliuca has been a guest artist for music festivals in South America and the United States, including the Strings Music Festival in Steamboat Springs, CO. His principal teacher was Keith Brown. He lives in South Florida, where he regularly performs with the Florida Grand Opera and West Palm Beach Symphony as Principal Trombone.
