Christine Wu is an arranger/composer, studio musician and concert violinist & cellist for records, film, television and live performance. She has played as a soloist and ensemble member around the United States, Europe and the Caribbean. Professional touring has taken her to Carnegie Hall as well as most of the prominent concert halls throughout Europe. A former member of the world-renowned Houston Symphony violin section, Christine relocated to Los Angeles in 2006 to write, record and perform. Since then, Christine has written and recorded and toured with such artists as Beyonce, Andrea Bocelli , Kelly Clarkson, Theory of a Deadman, David Foster, k.d. lang, Leona Lewis, DJ Quik, A.R. Rahman, Justin Timberlake, Michelle Williams and Usher, to name a few. Christine also regularly performs on American Idol, American Music Awards, The GRAMMY® Awards Show and the NAACP Image Awards Show, as well as numerous film and television soundtracks.
Christine has composed for film, including scores for short film, web series and feature film. As an electric violinist and cellist, she performs with hard rock bands, house DJ's, world music ensembles and as a member of an electric violin ensemble. Christine also works behind the scenes, producing and editing vocals for recording sessions, using her perfect pitch, Pro Tools skills and quest for perfection to collaborate with producers and mixers. Christine's signature style combines knowledge and virtuosity from her Classical training with an ability to improvise, a taste for simplicity and a love of all styles of music.
