Mississippi-native Byron Thames sought the glitz and glamour of Hollywood early in life, moving out to Los Angeles at the age of 8 and appearing in his first television series at the age of 11. He's gone on to act in a number of television shows and films including E.R. and HBO's Vietnam War Stories.
After recording an album with Geffen band Duke Daniels and touring the United States, Byron directed his first short film, Love Songs, distributed by Omni Films and Big Film Shorts. He also toured with The Dan Band, which was featured in Old School, Starsky and Hutch and a Stephen Spielberg special on HBO.
Byron is currently working on a solo album, scoring films and writing his next film project.
